3 months a guy lived on our crappy brooklyn apartment couch, he was a crazy talented artist with a huge insta following, he painted insane sized canvases all over our place. i was rooming with a best friend from georgia (the country) and this other random japanese guy, we would blast music we made while he painted samurai jack themed jackets and used our wall as an artboard. i genuinely loved the guy, we went to bunch of shows together and had a very decent friendship. the only downside was our living room becoming less chill and privacy felt less and less relevant since 4 of us shared one bathroom, eventually we urged him to chip in but finding a job for him was tough, eventually he moved to long island with his then girlfriend. i kinda miss the brooklyn days, right before covid hit
