it makes me happy. also the chiptune break is really smooth and the way it builds up has a great feeling. i feel like it ends a little abruptly just based on how well it builds up, something like the intro atmosphere at the end would have been a cool way for the song to say goodbye i think. but i can always just replay it too hehe

Fluubah responds:

Alright, thank you so much for the song feedback!! I really do need to work on my song structuring

meow meow. sounds awesome. great energy. the assembly line of synths coming in and building up fits the atmosphere really well. makes you wanna dance too

Midnights-Ocean responds:

Hey awesome! Thanks. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. <:3

This has strong chrono trigger vibes which is, you know, a huge compliment! I love the upbeat happy vibe a whole lot

ahh ty, i'm glad you enjoyed it!!

the crazy cat noise was really cool, i also found the story became captivating but i felt i might have missed some information that made the plot resolution more dramatic and i was wondering if there was more to the story you would have added if you would have let it run longer. i think you could use your musical skills to give a narrated story like this more scene changes with atmosphere and pacing variations that might pull a viewer into the story more and it would be done well if you tried it

CIEIRMusic responds:

First off thanks for listening. That said you didn't miss anything. This is meant to be a fan made prequel to a cult classic movie. I made it in a way that it is meant to encourage others to watch the movie. Specifically the extended cut version, because I referenced a scene in that one where West was caught trying to inject his serum into himself. As for why I didn't put the music in, I was trying to make it sound like it was coming out of a tape recorder. Also even if I wanted to put music in it I felt it wouldn't be the same without the theme song of the actual movie. Which I haven't learned how to cover yet. That said I was mostly going for realism. If you want to listen to some music with this, look up Richard Band Re-Animator Soundtrack. All and all I am glad you liked this regardless. That cat sound took a lot out of my throat lol.

This is perfect halloween music. great storytelling via musical atmosphere

CIEIRMusic responds:

Thanks. I put a lot of fear into this one.

this is a dope little jaws like melody, love the dissonant chord at the end too

CIEIRMusic responds:

I figure every horror or tense song needs that kind of chord. Takes people by surprise. Jump scares may get boring over time, but sudden loud, nonsensical, unnerving songs and chords will always never get old. People still jump if they're in the water and hear Jaws.

the disturbed and dark feel made the progressions nicely jazz like as more light moods are explored. an interesting emotional composition that plays on dramatic and brooding sounds but does a lot with them. this would be great soundtrack music for a film

CIEIRMusic responds:

Oh ya. I figured if I wanted to celebrate a milestone, it would have to be something moving.

It is really peaceful and harmonic and creates a really nice mellow sort of somberly happy nostalgic feeling. The different instruments and synths meld together really nicely

ZeroDigitZ responds:

Thanks for the rating and feedback.

I really like how the intro is just this banging drum line and then the bass comes in and sounds really video game like and the timbre is just like perfectly crispy. then the lead instrument makes it sound even more like perfect video game music but its strange, i dont know if the composition itself and speed makes it sound more like it would work in a video game or what, because after the second break when the instruments come back it seems more like I start to realize the do sound smooth like VSTs but theres some sort of classic style to it. it may be because the guitar comes in first in the second half instead of appearing when the track is peaking

CIEIRMusic responds:

Well when I was composing this I had no idea who Piconjo at the time was. A friend of mine filled me in on it and using his picture as the inspiration for it, I wanted to go a route different than what most people view Piconjo as. The majority see him as a villain, whilst this particular artist saw him as an Anti-Hero. So I figured this guy's supposed to be related to Newgrounds, related to Pico and that's been around since the late 90s. So I based it around that, this person was pretty much the Anti-Pico, so I gave him a song that pretty much summed up the Newgrounds Franchise as a whole. Somewhat, cheesy and comedic, but somewhat serious and a lot of action.

The fact that it may work as a video game song is a welcome surprise, because that's how Pico got started. So I figured Piconjo deserved the same treatment.

This is really inspirational and a really great message. I love the vocal effect thing going on here its like a talk box or something but really unique

CIEIRMusic responds:

Thanks.
